2013 Client Reunion & Naval Review Celebrations

Sydney Harbour Naval Review and Cruise Express
Reunion Luncheon - Saturday 5 October

*** THIS IS ESSENTIAL READING PRIOR TO BOARDING ON THE DAY ***

We are delighted you will be joining us on our exclusive Luncheon cruise on Sydney Harbour on Saturday 05 October to witness the spectacular International Fleet Review. This will be one of the biggest days on Sydney Harbour since the 1988 Bicentenary.

More than 35 naval vessels from Australia and abroad and 18 tall ships from around the world will converge on the harbour for a breathtaking parade marking the 100th anniversary of the Australian Navy’s first fleet entry into the harbour in 1913.

We are pleased to announce that we are one of only thirty eight commercial vessels that has managed to gain naval approval to be on the harbour for the event. Thank you for your patience whilst we have finalised all arrangements with the Australian Navy and other relevant authorities.

Our initially planned four hour luncheon cruise will now be extended in duration, as follows, due to strict traffic restrictions on Sydney Harbour during the review.

     8.00-9.00am
~ Wristband ticket collection from Simplicity Café
(located on The Promenade opposite King Street Wharf # 3, Darling Harbour, see map below)

~ Tickets may only be collected by the purchaser and on presentation of photo ID and/or original receipt of purchase. Where tickets have been purchased as a group, please ensure only the Group Organiser collects tickets for all members of your party

     9.15am SHARP
Boarding of Sydney Glass Island will commence at King Street Wharf 8,
    Darling Harbour

Due to restrictions both at the wharf and on the harbour we will be unable to wait for latecomers
(no refunds for no shows or unused tickets)

A 3 course luncheon & drinks will be served during the review

3.15pm Anticipated return to King Street Wharf # 8, Darling Harbour

See map below for the location of Simplicity Café and Sydney Glass Island boarding point.

As our food and beverage service is due to commence late morning, you may opt to purchase coffee and other refreshments from Simplicity Café prior to boarding Sydney Glass Island.

    Travel time advice

This event is anticipated to be as significant as the 1988 Bicentenary and the Sydney Olympics so we urge you to allow extra travelling time and consider public transport as the best way to get to and from this event. Over 5000 extra trains and buses will be running so avoid extensive road closures, leave your car at home and plan ahead at http://www.fleetreviewtransport.info/

We are delighted to confirm that one of Australia’s foremost authorities on cruise, navy and sailing ships, Mr Tim Ryan, will be onboard with us for the day to provide expert commentary and answer all your maritime questions.
Note: Please check your payment receipt and credit cardrecord carfefully.
As the event is fully booked we will be unable to add additional participants on the day.

Lastly, don't forget your camera, binoculars, sunscreen & a hat!
