Cruise Express International was launched in 1996 by Hardy Schneider.

 

His love for cruising began that year with his first voyage aboard the luxurious Crystal Symphony during her inaugural sailing to Australia. In 2001, Hardy joined forces with fellow cruising buffs, Lance Mumby and Megan Hill (now fellow directors), and Cruise Express was relocated in July that year to new premises in Balmain, Sydney.

 

Today, Cruise Express is recognised as one of Australia's leading specialist cruise agencies, selling our own popular hosted cruise tours to all corners of the planet and also offering a ‘world of cruising’ and other travel options for independent passengers. Our growing number of customers herald from all states and territories in Australia and many have formed enduring friendships with fellow passengers they have met on our escorted voyages.

We have received numerous awards of distinction from Cunard Line, Seabourn, Princess Cruises, P&O Cruises, Norwegian Cruise Line and others, and, in 2004, Cruise Express was named National Cruise Agency of the Year by the International Cruise Council of Australasia (ICCA).
