About Douro Spirit

Uniworld's 128-passenger Douro Spirit debuted in April 2011, replacing Douro Queen,
the line's Spain- and Portugal-based river ship operated since since 2005.
The new riverboat sails through the Douro River Valley, one of world's oldest wine making regions
(port is the specialty), famous for its terraced vineyards.
Cruises include visits to medieval cities, ancient monasteries and, of course, vineyards.
Onboard, passengers will find that all cabins have riverviews and French balconies and are appointed
with a vanity and make-up mirror, built-in closets, hair dryer, safe, individual thermostat for air conditioning,
flat-screen TV, and bathroom featuring L’Occitane bath and body amenities.
Meals are served open seating in the restaurant, and complimentary red and white wine,
Port wine, beer and soft drinks during dinner.
The main lounge has a bar and dance floor. A big plus is the sun deck which features a small swimming pool.
